I just didn't want to take time from work but it's probably best if I do...
Fly on Friday morning, look at the coach in the afternoon and then take off. Plan on average speed of 50MPH for the trip.

Just a note ... for anyone transporting for any reason ...

It might be your own motorhome, or a new purchase that you may or may not have inspected but don't have time to drive across country ... whatever ...

Just like when you RENT a truck or car, they do a walkaround inspection, you sign off, then any damage not previously noted is charged to you when you return it -

the pictures protect from having it delivered with damage and the transporter claiming it was already there.

RV has arrived

First I was going to use Uship, then a irv2 member but finally decided to send my father-in-law (he insisted!). He got the RV here in about 2 days and it is exactly as pictured. Everything works great with the exception of the slide (see other post) which was very low on hydraulic fluid and has a small leak that needs to be addressed.

Over all I'm very pleased with my ebay purchase and method of transport. I relied heavily on the ebay sellers feedback which included many RV and vehicle sales and they all said exactly as described and pictured. But I was still nervous until my father-in-law arrived to pick it up and went over everything. The slide worked at that time but it was warm and it probably had just enough fluid to get it moving.

Now the fun resumes! We considered waiting a few months to buy but are happy we got the old one replaced as soon as we did.
