Travel with 4 dogs?

Does anyone travel with more than 2 dogs? I have been looking around and most camp sites only allow 2 pets.
We are in need of some advice in this area. We love our dogs like im sure most of you do.

Three dogs...

We travel with three canines...a Cocker Spaniel, a Schnauzer and a Yorkie. We've found that some camp grounds limit the number to two but the great majority place no limits. Many do, however, prohibit some such as Rottweilers and Pit Bulls.

See our signature. Never a problem but then they are never off a leash, picked up after and no barking - EVER!

PS - There is an area below for discussion of "RVing with pets"

Traveled with 5 last summer. Never a problem! These are small dogs and fairly well-behaved. We walk them only 2 at a time. I "think" that even though a lot of places state only 2 pets, they look the other way as long as they don't become a problem for other campers.

When it comes to our dogs, we follow the Golden Rule!

We traveled for years with three large dogs. When the campground rules said two, we called first and asked.

They never turned us down. It is always better to ask first.

I travel with 4 babies and I always request permission ahead of time if I see there is a two dog limit in the parks.

I have yet to be turned down once the park manager knows they are smaller dogs.

I also travel with my little ex-pens to deploy around the entry to the coach so we don't have any problems with one of the pups escaping while people are entering/exiting.....

Here's a pic of us set up and ex-pens deployed....best wishes! Hope this helps!

We travel with two little one's. I see a empty chair in the picture and I hope its you that's taking the picture. Birds of Pray are always around. We see them on light poles going down the hwy all the time. It only takes a few seconds. The last few years it seems they are always flying around if I look at a jet takeing off (live by a airport) I will see a Red Tail Hawk flying in circles not sure what he's looking at but it won't be one of our little ones.
It happened last year in the town next to ours.

About a Month ago we dry camped at the Seven Feathers Casino in Oregon. There was a gal there with a smaller class A that had a bunch of dogs in a big pen. Someone said there were 14 of them. They never disturbed us at all but I can't imagine having that many dogs in an RV. We used to have 2 Jack Russells and are now down to one. Although we miss our Sassy we will stay with one dog.

You better believe that was me taking the pic of the babies. Nobody is out without me. The second pic was in San Antonio at about 110 degrees last Labor Day Weekend, they didn't even want to go out in that heat to go potty!

I'm very aware of those hawks and stuff especially at home, I see them flying around. I'm told by Parks and Rec folks and other wildlife wise folks that they do not even try to go near when there's a body standing out there with them, especially my size. LOL

I hope that's right, because my little Spencer is about 9-9.5 lbs now and I'm sure one of those things could get him, although I've also been told that they don't have the room to swoop down and get him in the back yard since its not big enough, supposedly, but yes, I'm very aware...

Tell us more about your next to yours experience about one of them getting a dog?

What a horror!
