Traveling in cold weather

We will be taking our first cold weather trip need some help. I have talked to two RV places and got two different answers. Can I run my furance while towing. Need to keep liquids from freezing. This includes the fridge. Thanks.

You can run the furnace if you like, though I'm not sure I would do it in a trailer (because it would be left unattended while you drive).

The fridge itself won't freeze and neither will the contents if you start out the day at normal fridge temperatures. The insulation keeps both heat & cold out.

Water lines may be a different story, but if they are not frozen to start with they should be ok for a day of travel.

If it was me, I wouldn't worry about TT freezing if daytime temps are 20s or above. Put a thermometer in TT so you can see how cold TT is getting and check when you have rest stop. If daytime temps are below 20 I would probably drain everything until I got to warmer temps. Have a good trip.
