Good morning everyone. Is there any canadians out there that can send me in the right direction. I would like to know how long you can start in the US while traveling and what residency problems or tax problems to look out for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome A Pryor to irv2.
I have no problem going into Canada its coming back into the U.S.A.
As far as yourself need passport as everyone else does and as far as tax's go, gas, meals, campground's you would just pay it as I do in Canada.
Here is a link that may help and maybe some of your fellow citizen's will pop in here and help you also.
Enjoy your trip and enjoy the States.

Visitors to the US may be subject to US taxes if they stay here more than 6 months - see this IRS publication:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p513.pdf

Your fellow Canadians can advise you on any Canadian tax or health benefit issues if you stay too long in the USA.

I received accurate and informative information to my questions about Canada here: Canada Region - iRV2 Forums
Thanks to my Canadian RVing friends here, we had a great time at the Calgary Stampede! I'm sure they have accurate information for your questions too.
