Tri State Salvage

Has anyone had experience dealing with Tri State Salvage in Michigan?

We are interested in replacing our couch and they have several listed on ebay at very reasonable prices. Since we live in Pennsylvania we would have to have the couch shipped to us and could not look at it before buying.
Thanks for your help. The ground did not see his shadow so spring is on the way.

I would think the name tells you everything you should know! just go by the golden rule( if it sounds too good to be true ) it's probably worth close to what they are asking but you can bet your bottom dollar on 2 things ,they
are not selling cheaper than they paid and there are no bargains in a salvage
r/v, your just buying problems from the start AND!!!! you say your not going to inspect it before you buy? come on now! your pop taught you better than that, Didn't he???? SALVAGE is just that , something someone dug out of the garbage to sell .But if you insist on buying salvage then at least go look at it first.Just my dollar's worth!!!!: nonono:

Actually the name of the company is Tri State Surplus, don't know why I wrote Salvage must be old timers syndrome.

You might want to check with Theron McKinney for comparison. He buys a lot of Tiffin Motor Homes left over items and buys furniture from people upgrading their RVs. He bought my like new couch with sofa bed (never been slept on - still had the plastic cover on it).
