Should of known better and shopped at home. Tried to save a few dollars and bought 2 coleman thermostats 8330_3362 at Makarios RV web sight . When recived 1 was open in plastic bag , other was sealed , will what do you know one that was open did not work.Contacted Markarios to replace it was told had to call someone else for trouble shooting etc not to contact them about it.So went to walmart and bought the honewell thermostat and modified it as on this sight suggests.works great, only lost 80 bucks. Sounds like customer service isn't their strong suit.

Call them back, cite the Uniform Commercial Code, see if that lights a fire under them.. if not call DMV in their state if they are an RV dealer. NOTE: DMV wont help you, (Since it is not a vehicle) but they keep a record of complaints and when teh weight of the digital record is greater than the weight of the investigator..... (old airplane joke).

Call your credit card company and dispute the charge. This action usually brings retailer's to their senses, and if not, the credit card company will often cancel the charges.

Don't take that response....start to climb the ladder...if you talked to a clerk, get referred to a manager...if you talked to a manager get the owner.....somewhere along the line someone will give you service.....and when you get that person tell them how poorly treated their front line workers treated you.

Hi folks! I am the owner of MakariosRV.com. I emailed Stew and apologized before this post was made and attempted to handle his concern but he did not reply. I even post my cell number directly on all my email ocrrepsondence. Custoemr service is a stronghold on our success and offered to handle the complete matter for him. Stew never replied to my email. I have open channels of communication in this office and RV myself. Why would would we not handle this concern? Why do we not have other complaints on all the forums but we have great comments and support camping clubs with door prizes and participate in Rally's. I apologize that we Stew and I never had the opportunity to resolve this and that I was not given a chance. Thanks for the comments and we wlecome all comments good and bad. If we never hear bad, we never know how to get better!

If I offended anyone, that is not our goal but to offer great service - we will fall short sometimes but the strength to get up again and continue forward is key. We are not perfect but do our best and learn from mistakes. Thanks. Stew, I am always available.

Dennis
