I would suggest Raccoon Mtn. Campground. Done the dinner cruise and it is very nice dinner and time with wife if the weather is good so you can get on deck. There is the aquarium that is now rated #1 in US. There is a ton of things to do here but we don't get much time off to check them out very often. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Lookout Mountain is well worth a day trip and Rock City is a must there:

We have stopped in Chattanooga a few times.

1. Rock City - very touristy but you have to go there once.
2. Ruby Falls - Road up there is a little twisty for a RV so be careful.
3. Lost Sea in Sweetwater, TN - very neat cavern with a underground boatride
4. Incline Railway - another thing you have to do at least once

X2 on Raccoon Mountain Campground. While there take the scenic tour up Raccoon Mountain. Just take a left out of the CG road, go a couple of miles then turn right at the signs. Great views and really nice drive.
