Truck stops with 30 amp hookups for RVs

There is a major trend in truck stops going "electrified" with air conditioning and 15 amp power plugs for truckers so they do not have to idle for hours. However, they are not designed to work for RV's and need to be kept available for truckers who are legally required to have rest stops.

But then there is a minor trend in truck stops installing 30 amp hookups that are designed for RV's. You can reserve them online at www.shorepowerconnect.com/PurchaseService for $1 per hour. I find this exciting, although so far they have only about 60 locations countrywide in operation or in planned construction. Keep checking the website and you may be able to use them when the hot weather hits us next summer.

So where are the sites that ARE in operation for RVs??

I checked the website and it was not very RV-user friendly.

Nice idea for brief stops. I hope it catches on. None near me now, but I bookmarked it for future reference.
