TS Performance MP8 Pro
Anyone ever tried one of these?

They claim a 30% gain for a $450 gizmo. Sounds too good to be true. That would take my Cat to around 450HP.

Had one, the MP8, on my 3126 and saw installs on ISC and ISL. On my 3126 on the dyno I got 394 HP and 1000+? torque with no heat problem from under 330 HP and 850 torque advertised. It is plug and play and if you can zip tie you can install. At this time several years ago there were warning lights that came on on some coach's, sister with same motor not???. Cure was to turn down the power setting, they may have that cured by now. Got some improvement in fuel mileage and a BIG boost in performance. I would install again in another coach.

So I am always curious if it is that easy why the factory leaves performance and mileage on the table?

Warranty? The system is engineered to the minimum power outputs so, as to prevent component failure do to higher horsepower and torque that all components will see. Once you add a power modifier you are your own warranty station!

Cat Diesel engines have ratings, A, B, C D and E. I'm sure other engines do to.
They can be set for any one, but life expectancy will change.
