We r new to the Rv life and wanted to find out what others are using for their television and internet services. Thanks all!!

Our TV service, both at home and in the RV, is DirecTV. For internet, again both home and away, is a Verizon JetPack, although we're not happy with the JetPack itself. We had a model 4620 that worked great, but last year we "upgraded" to the 6620 and it has been a piece of junk - the wifi signal strength is about 1/2 that of the older unit, and the cell receiver is also weaker. It constantly disconnects from our local cell tower - Verizon can't seem to solve the issue so when the contract is up we're going to go back to the older unit.

Direct TV and Verizon mifi plus unlimited data on the phone.

We use Direct TV both at home and in the RV.

We try to pick RV parks that have Wi-Fi coverage. If that is not possible we use our I-Phones as HotSpots with Verizon.

Over the air TV for most part (Park cable where I"m sitting though) and Park Wi-Fi or Cellular if the park does not offer (This one does)

I park in two kinds of parks.. Decent WI-Fi and no T-moble towers
Strong T-Mobile towers and no Wi-Fi

For most though Verizon is more likely to be there when you need 'em.

Direct TV with designated reciever for motorhome, and couple more at home. Use Verizon for phones and internet with jetpack. Satisfied more than most campers we talked to who have other providers. Tried Dish Satlite few years ago, at the the time harder to get signals. We have been completely wireless since 2005, full timed about five years, now doing 6 months South and six months home. We pay bills online, and use Internet a lot. I do consulting using the Internet from wherever we are. Verizon for phones and internet, Direct TV for rv ers is my recommendation.

DirecTV for motor coach and home. Our iPhones via AT&T provide our internet connection. We could use the Personal Hotspot feature; but instead, we tether with the USB cable for faster connection. With AT&T we can use the cell phone for calls and data at the same time.

If you have DISH or DirecTV at home, then the smart bet is to take whatever you have in your house in your RV.
If you don't have sat service and you're part-time RVing (as opposed to full timing), then DISH is your best bet because with DISH's Pay-As-You-Go service, you can turn DISH service on and off. You can't do that with DirecTV.
If you're full timing, then either DISH or DirecTV.

We also use DISH with the pay-as-you-go plan using the tailgater package, which was very reasonable. For internet, wi-fi or use of our Sprint unlimited data plan with wi-fi hotspot on the phones.

DirecTV at home. Cable/antenna on the road. Internet: we have used the Verizon Jetpack for several years, but recently got iPhones and discontinued the Jetpack, toward using the iPhones hotspot feature.

Over the air tv with the newer antenna is all I have at home and in the rv. Got tired of paying all that money and only watched very few channels. At first I was missing my favorites, but soon got used to it.

DirecTV through a SWM Trav'ler dish and 3 HD DTV receivers and a Winegard Batwing for OTA for my 5 TV's(46", 26", 20", 19" & 9") Full Time 12 months a year.

For Internet a DataStorm dish for Hughes.net satellite, campground WiFi, StrightTalk 4G Hot spot/Verizon back up and a Sprint iPhone 6 Plus with unlimited call, text, Internet(No Hotspot). Some type of above Internet used on 2 Desktops(W7 & W10), 1 Laptop W10 and a iPad.

Laptop is used for Street & Trips GPS when traveling & iPad used with CoPilot GPS when traveling. One other old Laptop(W ME) only used to run VMSpc when traveling.
