TV to new location?

I'm curious if anybody removed the front over the windshield TV? What creative ideas did you come up with? If you decided to move the TV to a better location give me some ideas as to what you would do in it's place. We are about to move ours and we have a large empty space to do whatever we want. Pics would be great!

You can use it for more storage space it not finished on the inside so box it in add a shelf in the center and fab a face frame to match the cabinets you have now and put a door on and you just added to your coach, I never moved a tv out of that space mainly upgraded the tv's but your idea is doable.

Muffin, This might give you some ideas. Good luck!

The head-banger is finally GONE!

Joe that's exactly what we're doing! Already sold the sofa and bought two Lazy Boy recliners! TV lift goes behind the other sofa, thanks. Taking out a huge plasma screen and probably donate to the church for the kids to watch Barney! Trying to be a little creative on the storage in the overhead.

Agreat idea that I haven't ever thought of but is really a great idea and one to consider. I was impressed when MSHappyCampers first posted it.

Muffin.....When I changed my rear TV, I needed a cabinet door. I called Monaco with the dimensions and they made me a door with the exact same material, stain and router cuts. Since your coach is a high end Fleetwood, you might find they will do the same thing. It's pricey, but you get a perfect match. If you're doing your own work, it becomes cost effective unless you're a really good cabinet maker.

Maybe this can save you some money. I found several places on line that only sell cabinet doors, drawer boxes, etc.. You will be able to find a match there. Also, I found a cabinet door to use where I removed the bedroom TV and placed a flat screen on my new door.
. We gained between 6 and 8 cubic feet of storage. You open and close using the TV itself.
Here's the door with holes for TV power and video cables:
Hope this gives you an idea and saves work and money.

We are friends with the owner of "Trees to These" in Decatuer, Illinois which is close to the AC factory. Greg can make and match any American Coach wood and Corian. He is truely a artist in this field. He has modified many coach's with fantastic results.
