Andy,
When you build your birdhouse, use a dark color screen for the back of the birdhouse and mount it with the back facing your neighbor's yard. The dark screen will camoflage the bark controller and allow the sound to be received and sent without hinderance!

All,
Stop and think about how you might use these devices for a moment. Where there are multiple dogs (yours or even a neighbor's) in proximity, if you put one of these collars on Dog A, won't the collar also go off if Dog B or C etc barks nearby and give a shock to Dog A? How cruel would it be if Dog A stops all barking but is constantly getting shocked because Dogs B and C may be barking (with or without their own collar)? If you put the collars on all your dogs, they will not learn anything because if someone else barks, they get shocked too -- remaining quiet will not stop the shock so you lose all the "learning" effect.
I would be extremely cautious about these type collars where there is more than 1 dog in the environment who could trigger the shock on an undeserving animal. That would be animal abuse, in my opinion. And these collars should not be used unsupervised (i.e. when you are not home with the dog) -- not only for the reason stated above (undeserved punishment) but also to be nearby in the event of an equipment malfunction that might cause constant shocking (so you can rescue the animal).
As a dog owner/lover (I am not a PETA radical) I think that any device that creates a situation where an animal might be shocked when it is not misbehaving is terribly unfair. Please use responsibly.

This device doesn't shock the dogs. It emits a sound they don't like.

I think you need to re-read this post in better detail, it does not involve collars or electric shock. This device is mounted in a specific location and produces an ultrasonic sound dogs find unpleasant, and only when they bark. It's not abuse because the dog has the ability to control the system! If he/she keeps their trap shut, there is no unpleasant sound emitted!

Please understand my following rant - our particular situation is occurring in a large lot, formerly quiet residential area largely populated by retired folks who usually are home all day tending yards and personal hobbies - THEN, the new and noisy neighbors arrived...
First of all, the device I am reporting on here is NOT a shocking collar, but a sound (or remotely controlled) activated device that emits ultrasonic sounds that the dogs don't like. You HAVE read the title of this thread, and the info provided on the specific device THIS discussion is all about, right?
Second, in my case at least, there are *4* dogs, all in the same large dog run, and typically when ONE is barking, ALL are barking - so the "correction" is usually evenly applied. These racket makers are commonly left outside in their run, while the entire family is gone all day at work - and then the whole neighborhood is "entertained" with the continuous, full volume baying chorus of the large hound, and accompanying barking of the other 3 large dogs - all of which will bark at ANYTHING that moves. These unconcerned neighbors have been approached by us, and other neighbors concerning the racket - with little, to NO permanent solution.
Third, these devices ARE directional, and can be aimed to a pretty specific area to localize effect - I have "enhanced ours further with a directional horn for even better control.
Third, I, and apparently MOST of those commenting in this thread are interested in this approach only because their "dog loving" neighbors or close by CG/RV park occupants are TOTALLY indifferent to wishes and welfare of all those around them, and VERY willing to allow their neighbors to suffer the "audio abuse" dished out by their darling undisciplined, uncontrolled fur-ball loudmouths - why is it, that so many "pet lovers" are so willing and eager to sacrifice the well-being of human neighbors, rather than take responsibility to properly control their pets in a legal and reasonable fashion?
When it comes to a choice between the welfare, rights and "abuse" of humans vs animals, *I* will choose the welfare of humans every time! We paid nearly $100 for a device WE don't actually need, purely because our irresponsible and indifferent neighbors WON'T properly control their racket-makers themselves! And THIS, makes US potentially bad guys and animal abusers?
PULEEEEZE!

UMmmmm - well, it's quite frequently the (undisciplined/uncontrolled) children that MAKE the old people "grumpy"...
Unfortunately, no apparent cures in sight for either...

Now if only they made a unit that when the button was pressed the dog would crap on the owners property.

You ever watch, as a "dedicated pet lover" pretends to be looking the other way as his/her darling craps on YOUR campsite, then liberally waters down the shiny RV wheel covers you only recently polished so carefully?
YUP, and then they nonchalantly saunter off as though nothing happened...
And THEN, when a thread such as this one, suggesting defensive cures for the lack of responsibility and consideration of pet owners, WE are often quickly labeled as the offensive bad guys and "animal haters/abusers"...
I actually like dogs a great deal - it's only their inconsiderate, irresponsible OWNERS I have a dislike for!

Gary,
I agree. But what amazes me is how little pet owners know about their pets. When a pet eliminates they usually do it to mark their territory and they do it where other pets have gone before, so when the owner allows their pet to go on your property whether they pick it up or not the scent is there and other pets will do their business at that location . My question is if the owner intends to pick up their pet's mess why don't they let the pet do it on their property?

I have a couple questions.
1-You tested it on a dog laying in your neighbor's yard that wasn't barking?
2-Is it on continuously or do you activate it when a dog starts barking?

We use one of these: Amazon.com: Lentek Super Bark Free Dog Training Device: Home & Garden
...for our own dogs (who learned real fast not to go running outside and bark at the fence), and for neighbors' dogs (whose owners don't seem to care if their dogs annoy everyone). I am going to bring it in the RV for those special occasions this summer where we have inconsiderate neighbors.

To the OP: Using that device in a RV park may turn out to be more than you bargained for.
Other dogs than the one(s) that offend you could be affected.
If I found our service dog cringing because someone was "harming her", there would be blood. Might be my blood, but there would be blood. Not flaming.
Keeping it in YOUR backyard is a good friendly idea. Now others have stated they are going to bring their devices to the RV parks. A good idea getting ugly.
