Ultrasonic Propane Level Checkers

Does anyone have experience with the ultrasonic propane level checkers? I know of three with significantly different prices; Truma LevelCheck, MOSCAP Gas Check and Dometic Gas Checker GC100. Prices seem to range from $69.99 to $29.99. I'm looking for any advice before I pick one.

I pour hot water over the tank if I'm in doubt about the level.

Ultrasonic Porpane level checkers

My friend and I both have one of the Dometic checkers. They actually work pretty well and are very handy, just press squarely against the side of the tank at various levels until the light turns green indicating the level of propane in the tank.

They can be a little finicky, but always seem to work. Much faster and less mess the the hot water method
