Hard to tell if this is a good deal without looking at what condition it is in. Also, you can get a general idea of value by going to www.nadaguides.com -- they have an RV section.

Good luck!

Well I offered them $3500.00CDN, but they said no, they turned down another offer he said of 4000.00, so he said I could probably get it for 4500.00

Thing is, they are closing down, and so anybody I dealt with is gone now, and last year when I bought our first fifth wheel, I paid $6000.00CDN for a Prowler Lynx 18.5 Feet tandem axle and they were selling the same model at some dealers for 10,000 and they went down to 7900.00 to clear it out and I countered with my offer and they took it, so I figure there should be some wiggle room.
MIne has been really good, have not used it that much yet, but it is solid, but wife figures now we need to go a bit bigger.
So I am willing to buy if it checks out and I can get it cheaper.

Yeah, stick with your offers and see what happens. They want to get rid of it and if nobody else comes along, they will likely deal with you. A 1988 is not so new that everybody will be jumping for it, so I'd say you have an excellent chance at a bargain.

Okanagon makes a pretty decent fifth wheel. We know folks who have had two of them, upgrading fromam a smaller one to a large model.

Nice looking trailer - and obviously very well kept up too. I can see why you are interested in it. Hope you can reach an agreement with them.

Well drove to see it, but it was sold.
But I would not have bought it, a little too rough inside for me.
There was damage to the ceiling in the back and the floor has seen a bit of use.
I don't know what it went for, but told the wife it was not one I want to buy and then work on.
So she will have to be happy with our 18.5 foot one a bit longer.
Thanks for the replies.
