I guess my first attempt at plumbing did not work out too well, even with all the hard plumbing being mounted to one solid surface the fitting cracked at the outlet of the regulator on the first trip out last summer.

I got a few bits and pieces and put a jumper hose and left it like that with no further incidents with it for the remainder of our travels.

I finally got a bit of time and redid the plumbing after the regulator as well as made a permanent mount for the hose reel header hose

The air compressor that came with the Hadley horn kit sounds like it had more than a few marbles dropped into a clothes drier with nothing else in it. I had a air compressor laying around that was used to make tire chains rotate when the compressor was turned on (with no air tank needed) the piston looks like it's almost twice the size and it's definitely less noisy and the outer cylinder is cooler to the touch when airing the tank up from 0 psi

It's in now to be checked for air leaks

Since I decided to keep my front axle Airlift set up I finally installed the control panel I purchased for it. Also included in the picture in the lower left corner is the box I built for lighter sockets for the dash cam, GPS, and the TPMS.

The sockets are marine grade which lock them in place.

Actually the snow is all gone up here and the rain has pretty well cleaned the streets we're both ready to go once we figure out where. The only trip on the agenda so far is the iRV2 Rally.

Well almost I've got to get the sound bar for the front TV mounted I'm just waiting for the wood stain to dry so I can mount the trim panel.

What are you using the compressor for?

Airlift bags on the front axle and Hadley air horns. it has a more baritone sound to it in the interior than the treble rattle pitch irritating sound. More like a V8 with duals compared to a 4 cylinder with the big muffler.

Isn't there a air compressor on the engine?

Not on my gas engine if I did I would have already changed my rear suspension to a Peterbilt air leaf suspension which is way down the bottom of a may do list, at the very bottom in fact because of the air supply concerns.

When I replaced my front TV the speakers ended up behind the TV and totally enclosed from the cabin which resulted in a muffled sound, well that's taken care of now with the installation of a sound bar. I even have access to the manual controls with it mounted this way.

Not that I think I needed it but it now has more ventilation as well.

I've always been concerned about keeping the binocular case by the front seat in case some how it was ever able to slid under the brake pedal well that's taken care of now as well
