I was asked by CJ in the Workhorse Chat Thursday night about progress there was a lot made thinking about it and very little psychical action taken with it but after a couple of tries the wood is up over the bed it just needs a final tie down with a couple screws on each side to prevent any possibility of it bouncing out going down some of our fine roads.

This is the lower "French Cleat" made to fit

And the upper cleat and reinforcements against wood warp in high temps or humidity

And of course what it looks like in place, it's so sturdy compared to the first one over the closets that the first one will be done this way as well. Neither of them have any fasteners showing from the living area

That looks SO nice, John! You're so much of a perfectionist, doing the closet over. Dave would do the same.

I very seldom use gizmo type tools but with the amount of space I did not have to put the trim in that you can hardly see in picture #1 I broke down and bought one, the other choice I almost made was no trim that no one but me would ever see.

But with using the right angle gizmo the job finished up fairly fast and easy. There is no up and down play in it now.

I found a use for this wasted space between the toilet wall and closet slide in the bed room. But I'm not telling what it is just yet

It may not be the most stylish but it will serve the purpose. I don't like having the window screens by the dining room table, couch and the passenger front window it just does not give a clean clear view of the out side but I wanted them if it came to the point of having the windows open and no bugs. Storing the screens without a potential for damage was a big concern.

So hopefully these don't fall out traveling down the road I don't think they will, now for the bathroom scale that needs its own home

Thank you, the board is longer than the screens so it could screwed into the thin wall at it's strongest point near the angle.

Very innovative! Have you used up all those trim pieces you got in Elkhart by now?

No not really I've still got more play time with them. I'm going to use them for some quick turn around jobs.
