Now that the flat screen TV which would not turn on with the inverter has it's replacement purchased and it is no longer needed in the MH and given the fact there was no stand for it the time had come to dig into the scrap metal pile and make a stand for it

It now replaces the CRT in the basement that never gets used

Great Job, really liked your storage rack in the propane bay. I'll be stealing that idea soon.

Thanks, I have aluminum from a basement door off my previous PA Vision that I replaced. Used the inner for this, will use the outer for the new project.

Let me know if you decide to make a slider. I made it easily removable and no damage / mods to the basement box, pics available.

Are the bottoms of your bay floors fairly flat? Mine drop down a couple of inches or more. I've had this thought to put a tool box in one bay but it's been way in the back of my mind.

On this coach (1996 PA Vision) the bay floors were about 2" below the entrance lip. I built a frame work that brought my Heavy Duty shelf sliders up high enough to rest on the front edge. Then I only used small screws through the back wall to control tipping when I rolled the loaded cooler out. This also gave storage under the cooler for patio items.

Thank you your design will be in my next round of updates just a little farther down the list. It looks like it will fit my box to a T.

Best part is except for the sliders all the material is already on hand to do so.

I'd do it now except the snow is starting to go away up here and it won't be long before the road salt gets washed away at which time I will be out of here.

Thank you again.

Brockx, are those Rev-A-Shelf slider brackets? If not where did you get your hardware? Great idea!

I bought these from Amazon $20 for the set of 2. There are several brands available at Home Depot and Lowes. The Amazon price was a lot better than HD and Lowes at the time. The set I used was 100# rated at full extension, need that to get the cooler completely clear of the coach for lid clearance. This link looks like a good price dependent on shipping cost though.

I took some preliminary measurements and slapped the TV in and to my second surprise with the TV it mounted closer than I expected (I originally wanted about an 1/8" of clearance). I like the tight look but now I'm concerned about squeaks while traveling if I leave it this way. The gap showing at the top of the pictures goes away with just finger pressure and would be equal all the way around. I quite working on it for the day.

Anybody with thoughts or experiences with it?

I hate squeaks and rattles.

John on my PA I have a flat screen in my cabinet over the front and what they did was use velcro around the outside of TV and on the back of opening the weight of the TV makes a nice fit and when you need behind it, just give a nice firm push in the corner and work it loose.Basically get tv openiong and lean it back and force bottom against velcro to set it then let it fall forward against the rest of the opening and your good to go
