Yeah who know how the first thing that catches your eye, when I saw that station cover it looked like a wing. Some people look at a cloud and see completely different things at first glance saw your rig taking off.

When we bought our old girl wasn't sure where rv'ing would fit in, was scared of the old gas mileage thing, we bought the correct coach for us for now giving our income and budget and will see what the future brings, but we are solid in now. I now approach the gas mileage thing as a cost and if I can afford any planned trip just get behind the wheel and enjoy.

We took our first big retirement trip Nov 2015 balloon fiesta Albuquerque then Grand canyon about 4200 miles. To each his own but really like this MH it's systems are simple and I can work on any phase of it.

AM planning next even bigger trip, north Florida up east coast many stops into Canada around the great Lakes back to Florida.

This has been a terrific thread and I have gleaned a good deal if information from it. Thanks for taking the time to share it all. It makes another like yourself, namely me contemplate following suit with a different coach, in my case a couple of Safari coaches. I have a 2001 Zanzibar that I have had for 6 years and many mods later am upgrading to a 1999 Safari Panther C12 just purchased with 11,666 on the odometer and as new. Oh Boy this is going to be fun...Thanks Bill Edwards

Just remember to post pictures and slip a few of the Porsche in for good measure. I got your hint about the flexible agent for clear coat jotted down and plan on playing with it a bit then doing my front as it's getting ready for it along with the bottom of the storage boxes in the very near future.

Front Clearance lights

John - I have skimmed through this thread looking for info on the front clearance lights you have, but don't find anything. I just replaced all 5 of my rear running lights as the lenses had sun rotted and cracked. Rather than go to Fleetwood and try to find replacement lenses, I purchased LED replacement units. I would like to replace the front clearance/running lights as well with LEDS. Do you remember where you got yours, the model and were you able to do the replacement totally from the exterior???

thanks in advance for your help.

I replaced my the front lights from the exterior, I bought them from eBay by measurement, number of LED's, and overall looks.

The hardest part if you want to call it that was removing the studs but then they were also excellent centering marks.

I'll try to find where I found them. They were considered for Kenworth and Peterbilts.

This I believe is them I did not buy as many as listed here but it at least it gives you an idea, there are some just like it for less money but they also have less LEDs.

I imagine you could contact them direct with the information in the listing and have them list them and buy them for a lessor amount than all they have listed

I can drive in the dark off the glow from just the upper marker lights.

Thanks - I'll check them out.
Wow - with 31 LEDs per unit, I can see where headlights might be optional!

I'm guessing typo but it's 13 LEDs per unit, I just counted mine and it turns out it's 11 LEDs per light with diamonds shaped reflectors front and side and 4LED/ facing up. I'll get a picture tonight in the dark.

Sewage Piping Storage

I didn't like my slinky in my water compartment so I made storage on the side of my end cabinet that goes to the underside. Works Well........
