I sent Lazydays 2 e-mails, one about overseas purchases and the other about their course for MH driving, so hopefully I will hear form them soon.

My wife and I took the driving course and it was well worth it. You get to drive a mid sized RDP in some tight quarters after about two hours of classroom instruction. The two instructors are pretty good guys and they made it so my wife can now drive the rig both on the highway and when we are in a tight spot.

Their service department had a few rough spots but their sales staff is usually pretty top notch.

Thanks for your input - it sounds like a worthwhile course to take as my partner will do whatever, not to drive any vehicle never mind the rv. I am told their Sales Team are good, as for Service, I am not sure it matters, unless they are part of a larger company as we will be off on our travels as soon as we collect our final rig, so wont be using their service department much (I hope!!)

Oregon has NO sales tax and that can save you a ton of money.. BUT, You better live there or face a chance of huge fines.

Nevada requires a special licence to drive an RV and an add on for towing.

As part of the deal they give you an East or West coast membership to the ThousandTrails Campgrounds which you can sell off when you go back across the pond.

We don't plan on using the service department either but it happens.

Hey Guys - Thanks

I dont live in Oregon so not sure that would work for me, but I shall look into it.
Neil I have just had a very long conversation with Lazydays and they are really helpful as you suggested... seems I may be able to get a few things sorted by useing them. I shall be doing there Driving Course as it really does seem like a perfect opportunity.
But my not using there service is because I doubt that I will be in there area long enough. We shall be hitting the road hard once we have the rig Happy Days
