Wonder if their RVs have China Bomb tires? RVing may prove to be a short-lived fad over there if they do.

And Americans will keep buying, buying, buying, and buying. It will only make a difference in the short term, then we as a people will get right into the same main stream and buy. Then we will complain, then we will buy some more.

I smile when I read things about China, having been to their country seven times, and having a Chinese wife, I believe I can offer some insight into that concern. First though, I am sure the senior members here remember when Japanese "junk" flooded into America and now it seems that China "junk" is doing the same thing. Always remember that an American company in China is building the products that say 'Made in China' we can blame the Chinese when the product says 'Made by China' it's easier to blame a nation for our financial crisis in America, but the problem is american corporate greed. when an american company takes u s dollars earned from sales from hard working american families and moves it's operations onto foreign soil to save money on production costs it's in theory an act of treason. because they remove the jobs, but still offer the finished product to the very people they screwed over to increase profits. and when we buy these products, we can only blame ourselves for our own demise.

Sadly our tax laws reward the companies that send jobs overseas and then penalizes those that keep jobs here. Changes in the tax laws could help put us back on the right footing. Trouble is finding anyone in Washington with the gumption to change things.

Things have already been changed in Washington, corporate lobbyists made sure of that.

We are already a third world country

Don't we build auto's for Korea, Japan and Germany. Called "outsourcing".

I wonder if citizens of the above countries are crying about jobs going overseas ?

Lobbyists of all kinds are the currency of Washington. Talk to Boeing about their new plant in South Carolina that they can't open because of the National Labor Relations Board or even what we see on a day to day basis with massive federal and state tax audits going on. We are not talking about audits of tax cheats but of regular folks who work hard and pay their taxes. It's a different world out there now and the view is not pretty.
