I financed a 2000, Gulfstream Class C, 2 1/2 years ago.
It was thru M&T bank and they gave me a 12 year term.

I believe it differs by bank, though I expect you could find at least one that will handle RVs 10 years old (or more). Dealers I'm talking to also recommend Vystar Credit Union as a good place for an RV loan.

Some only do up to five years old, but you should have no difficulty getting a 10 YO rig financed somewhere. Beyond age 10, you are going to have to really hunt for a lender.

When we bought our last RV, we went with a home equity loan instead of a vehicle loan. It was much easier to organise, wasn't dependent on the age of the RV and was a longer loan period. It had the additional advantage of not having to be paid off immediately when we sold the rig 4 years later.

I financed mine through my local bank it was just under 15 years old. Biggest issue was coming up with a NADA value for the amount financed that equaled the asking price. Mine is financed over a relatively short term though, 48 months.

Most banks and credit unios have different standards; if you hit a road block consider online RV finance specialists, like Good Sams etc.

Thanks guys, I had not thought of a home equity loan. That may be the ticket.
I'm not sure but I think Good Sam's don't finance over 10 yo.

I financed a 1998 HR Endeavor through USAA in October. Easy process. 10 year term which I will pay off hopefully in 3.
