My son had a baby black snake several years ago that he was trying to keep inside... made him let it go because it wouldn't eat in captivity...but before he let it go, it escaped it's shoe box and was traveling around in his very messy room, happened to get stuck on some duct tape lying around sticky side up... so he comes out distressed and wants mom to fix it.... I couldn't peel the tape off without taking scales and skin with, so I tried baby oil to loosen the tape... no go... then tried talcum powder.... finally managed to relieve the poor little bugger with only a few scales missing and one little raw spot that healed over nicely. Snake still lurks around the house.... bugger helps himself to duck eggs now and then, but I don't mind sharing an egg now and then as long as he helps keep the mice populations down around here! Hey... there's the ultimate mice fixing device for trailers and campers!

Why pay $1000 for a new couch?

This is not the author of the song. I've heard it performed live, by the author.

two years ago my buddy was backing his one year old trailer and hit the end of a pruned branch, which pierced his gel coat and drove right into the trailer. Guess what he patched it with.....yup...duct tape. The thing that he did wrong is he didn't get the trailer fixed. The next year a bunch of his cabinets had split and he couldnt understand why.......Duct tape is a great Temporary repair.

Used it to make a temporary replacement for a roof vent that blew off (it was not open at the time). Used for holding windshield molding in place. Preventing blisters on your feet.

Just goes to prove...all you problems boil down to dect tape and WD-40.

And would you use that on the dog, or to hold the cotton in your ears?

On a previous thread I detailed how, having used duct tape for a temporary repair (three months) on my Odyssey, the only thing that would remove the adhesive gunk left behind once the repair had been made was - WD40!

Warts. Small piece left on for a few weeks, no air for the virus, it dies off.
