Using 30 amp on a 50 amp site

What is needed to use a 30 amp plug from a tt???must be some kind of adapter??

You want one of THESE. Can be had at any RV supplier - might even find one at Wal-Mart.

There are adapters, but all the 50 amp sites I have seen also have 30 amp connections!

We were at a campground that had 50 and 30 at each pedestal, but each pedestal was shared with two sites and they other site had taken the 30. That was the only time I got to use the 50-30a adapter we carry, but it was worth every penny as it was close to 100 degrees.

We thought so, too, but bought a 50A male to 30A female adapter anyway.
Since then, we've actually been at several that only had a 50 amp connection on some sites and very glad we had the adapter
