We use our CB on Channel 19 when traveling and it paid off as a trucker told us our tailgate was down.He said your white water hose and chock block is down the road, and your green extension card is dragging under the trailer.
This happened in early april just west of Sioux City Iowa.

Wouldn't be without the CB in the coach or Toad. Monitor 19 all the time and have heard about bad wrecks etc and avoided the back ups many times. Back in the day I drove the big trucks for several years and got used to having one. Still like the information you can get. Guess there's still a little trucker in me yet. Thank Goodness that the craze from the 70s is long gone. It's much quieter now, mostly just truckers. Seems like all the "good buddies" gave it up with their bell bottoms and disco outfits.

We keep it on 19, but it's very quiet out there. Once in a blue moon we'll here some skip vibes from other parts of the country, but otherwise no one uses the CB any more. If ours would go on the fritz I'd probably pull it.
