Vaca ideas?

Since the next school calendar year is now out, it's time for us to look at vaca ideas during kids' school breaks. They have a week at Thanksgiving, two weeks at Xmas & a week in March. March has Disney, but looking for suggestions for thanksgiving and Xmas. Any ideas? Kids will be 17, 14, 13.

Are they interested in wildlife and/or photography? If so I can provide some excellent Florida locations.

Have you asked your kids where they want to go?

As 2 of our 3 boys are past their teen years, that was always a good place to start.

Eastern TN between Chattanooga and Gatlinburg always had something for everyone. Or go to Asheville, NC as mye boys thought the Biltmore Estate was cool, especially the back scenes tour. It will be decorated for Christmas from Thanksgiving to January.

Well, Yes- we do check with kids. BUT, we are military and move a lot. SO, where they always want to go is go back and visit where we just moved from

All your kids are old enough, tell each one to 'surf' the internet and come up with what they want to do and where to go. Then sit down and plan a trip that satisfies everyone. Planning is fun !
