Have a Dyson DC41 purple animal in the house. Performs well in spite of not being the top rated on consumer reports. Reliability? Had ours a year and power head died. It's at a repair center in LA now and all we had to do was drop it off at a UPS store that they contacted directly prior. They stand behind their product very well. 2 other Hoovers, one about 10 years old, the other over 20 years old. Neither have ever given a lick of trouble and work well. For the motorhome it's a Hoover Nano from Walmart. Fine little machine.
