Vacuum cleaner on board?

My DW lives vacuums, I'm not kidding we have 4. But we don't keep one in the RV. Any recommendations? Electric vs battery powered? Size matters of course but smaller = better.

Mini-sized Dyson DC-24 All-Floors model ...looks like a kid version of the standard models and works great.

We carry 2.

An Eureka and a Roomba. Roomba goes everyday, the Eureka once a week or right before leaving.

Dyson battery power. Impressed with how long it holds a charge.

We tried several different types before settling on the FastVac 500:

Super FastVac 500 | 500FV | Distributed By MCM

Small, easy to store, large assortment of attachments, powerful suction and lightweight.

We're very happy with this one from Dyson:

DC44 Animal

  • Root Cyclone™ technology
  • Dyson digital motor
  • No loss of suction
  • Balanced for floor to ceiling cleaning
  • Motorized head with carbon fiber filaments
  • Increased run time
Take care,
Stu

We have a Red Devil central vac...JMHO, but we don't like the 12v vacs, not enough power.

I agree with DC not having enough power. Our old AC vac drew enough amps that we turned the AC (other AC as in air) off first if it was on so I wondered about a battery powered. I guess it's wishful thinking they are strong enough but maybe someone has found that perfect RV vacuum!
