Valve stems

Hi, went to check air pressure on tires, noticed the rear tires has the L shaped valve stem on outside tire is facing towards the inside tire. How can you put a air pressure gauge on it as there is no room? Is it facing the wrong direction maybe? Am I using the wrong type of gauge? I currently have the Exketicity 250 psi gauge.

Thanks

Two ways of doing this. Get a double headed truck tire gauge that is made for inside and outside dually tires. Or replace the valve stems with one piece metal stems that are bend so the ends are easily accessed. The second option is required if you use a TPMS. A company named Borg makes valve stems in many bends, lengths, etc to fit nearly any RV.

Think checking the pressure is hard....wait until you have to add air.

I have extensions on my rear duals, makes life simple.

You can use this double headed chuck. It's designed to be connected to an air compressor, but doesn't need to be to check pressure. If you do connect it, you can add air too!
