Valves

I am a newbie to this site. I am looking at getting a fifth wheel. I've had a couple travel trailers over the years. And I was just wondering if anybody has ever thought about automatic valves on your grey tank and black tank. They've got electric jacks all the way around electric awnings. Even ones it'll roll themselves up if it gets too windy. Why do they still have pull levers on the valves?

Already make em. Just google up electric rv dump valves. Brings up a whole bunch of sites and reviews.

Overkill. Is pulling a lever when you have to be down there anyway that big of deal?

On occasion, tank design and coach set-up dictate that drain valves might not be reachable. However, given the issues with keeping tanks unplugged and draining properly, manual handles are probably better and more durable over the long-run.
PS--I don't see any need for TV remotes as long as the grandkids can change the channel for you [I know, old joke]....

Yes I did Google them. I found them on Amazon even. It's amazing what you can learn. Thanks.

My tanks are inside an enclosed heated space and the valves operate via extended cables with handles located in a service compartment. No problem with pulling a little handle to dump. Works great.
