Vent above frig on 1998 Newmar Dutch Star

I'm experiencing roof leaks and one is below the rectangular vent app. Above the refrigerator. Can anyone tell me what that vent is for? Refrigerator?

It vents the hot air from the frige cooling tubes/fins. The makeup air is the removable vent at the base of the fridge on the outside. Don't block the roof vent.
