Ventline lid polycarbonate smoke

I have been searching, literally for years, yes, years, for a replacement lid for my Ventline manual vents. They are the type with a full sheet metal hinge and held in place by the little tabs on the ends being bent. I can find polycarbonate lids, I can find smoke tinted lids, I can find a combination of the two but not with my hinge.
My Fantastic Vent, has a smoke tinted polycarbonate lid and I love it. The smoke tint seems to do an amazing job at letting in light but not heat. I have white polycarbonate lids on two other vents but they don't let in much light and are almost completely opaque.
The only solution that I have come up with, so far, is to order a Northern Breeze lid and I'm going to modify the actuator. I am planning on removing the side lifter slide from the lid, just to get rid of it and I am planning on taking the center slide from an old lid and attaching it. The pictures that I have of the Northern Breeze look like it was manufactured to have the center slide and then modified with a side slide? But I've only seen pictures. I do have this on order and if it works out for me I will do the same for three other vents (four in total plus the Fantastic Vent). I'd rather just purchase what I want but I can't seem to find any manufacturer that makes one with the right type of hinge. Has anybody seen one anywhere? If not, does anybody have a better solution than the one I am about to try?
Thanks in advance for all of your help.
-Andrew

Thank you for the contact info, I have just used it to make my request. I guess I was hoping that some other manufacturer was making one since I know that Ventline does not. Now let's see if Ventline will.

Thanks,
Andrew

If all else fails you might begin trying this list of RV surplus and salvage stores. Here is another store not on that list: RV Parts Online Resources

Thanks, but it looks like nobody makes what I'm looking for. On a happy note, my Northern Breeze lid showed up and after pulling the slotted center actuator out of the old one, it riveted nicely into the new one. So, I have found my solution, I am just not sure why they seem to refuse to make it for the most popular RV vent? I am going to order three more of the Northern Breeze and swap out the actuator guts. If anybody wants to see it, I could post pictures of the mod.

Thank you everybody for your help!
