I was lucky enough to have an unlimited 4G hotspot when I upgraded phones about 4 years ago. I was afraid I would lose it the next time I traded phones but it stays with the phone number and the plan I have. Verizon raised the price for it (before I traded phones) but it is still cheaper than me having a limited gig plan.

Tizzyfit, it really isn't that complicated, you just need one additional appliance to physically connect to your TV to receive and translate the video transmitted from your phone. For Apple fans, this has traditionally been an Apple TV, and for Android, sounds like Chromecast has solutions for both. In a few short years, these interface appliances will also disappear, as TV's begin to incorporate these same features.

Vizio TVs now have Chromecast built in.

I switched to the unlimited plan. With the JET PAC I don't have to worry about campground wi fi. It automaticly switches to 3g if 4g isn't available.
