Viston Radio/CD player....

during our last outing the CD player quit.....the unit is not repairable....I have to remove the player from the console.

The player is installed in a 2004 Fleetwood Revolution, it's a 6 CD player with all the bells and whistles (satillite/phone).

Viston, the provider, is out of business...no point of contact for info.

Thanks in advance,

Norm

There is several companys that make a very good quailty 6 CD player. I personally never use my 6 CD changer. That is just me though.

I think I remember seeing that brand, Viston, on a store shelf somewhere at one time. CD players are pretty inexpensive these days. I guess it's a crap shoot on which brand to replace it with. I don't know that anyone tests them for motorhome use. I just checked consumer reports and the brands that rate highest with them are, LG, Panasonic, Sony and Samsung for standard players. For blue rays it's the same with one model from Yamaha rating high. None of the test data related to durability though. If you want more details without subscribing to consumer reports let me know and I'll let you know the model specifics.
