These were in my local wal mart at 2:30 pm today. Only one looks like a traveler to me. What do you think?Click image for larger version

And people wonder why wal mart is stopping over night parking. It should have said 1:30

Looks like some travelers and some that are down on their luck. Hope things improve for them.

The real question is whether they were still there tomorrow. It sort of looks like caravans I have seen leaving traveling circus events or mobile repair crews stopping for the day.

They ALL had wheels so hard to say which is/which isn't a 'traveler'

City Ordinance is what stops the 'overnighting'

Corporate Walmart is OK with it

Town has had no overnight parking for years. What I meant by travelers is people on vacation or full timers. This is typical at this Wal-Mart. You can't tell very well in the pictures. But some have tarps on the roof, holes in the sides and corners from hitting things, landing gear down, wooden door oh and one has a "NO TRESPASSING SIGN ON THE DOOR". They won't leave until they are told. There is a campground literally 2 minutes down the road with vacancies. I've never spent the night at a wal-mart, but it would seem like if people are traveling there wouldn't be that many so early in the afternoon?

I just looked online they have a long list of Wal-Marts in Ca. where overnight parking is NOT allowed, this is one.

Wal Mart has great prices. I use their Saving Catcher app. Very easy to pay and then submit the receipt to see if there is a lower price near by. If so, you get a credit.

Try it.

This would be Santa Cruz, CA if Santa Cruz had a WalMart*.

Somehow I think the only one pictured who would use the app or spend $$ in the store is the guy with the Honda generator sitting next to his rig.

But great information, THANKS

I'm thinking full or long timers but not because they retired with a comfortable income.

what is walmart going to do? maybe put up a sign, "only the well to do are allowed to park".
we dont know the status of anyone else but ourselves. ive seen just as many wealthy people leave trash as the poor ones. ive seen tailgaters that stayed the whole weekend in my home area, which is prescott az.

i just stay and move on. i am glad i have been blessed to not be in anyone elses condition.

No. They'll just put up a sign that says "No Parking".
