Walmart for oil change
I was told of use of Walmart to do oil changes. I asked our local Walmart, they had never done it but saw no reason why they couldn't. They have one tall stall door but did not know the height. It would be much cheaper

I just finished a $4700 motor job on a Mini Cooper cuz Walmart put the wrong filter on it.
Last week a transmission on a Accord, they put 2 different size tires on it.

Two different size tires on the transmission? Wow, Wally Mart really messed that up. How does one even put tires on a transmission?? (-:

Would it be much better to have the oil changed at a "Quality Plus Ford Dealer" and get 2 quarts too much of the wrong oil? If you don't do it yourself, or at least supervise the job, you will not know what you are getting.
Yes, you even have to check tire sizes, inflation and lug torque. Some folks might not have a clue that two different tire sizes will put undo wear on drive components.

Two different size tires (one was 2 inch taller) shredded the differential gears in about 400 miles.

I never used one, but are the doughnut spare tires smaller then the regular ones.
Maybe that's why they have a 200 mile range.

Tire size
I was told on a 4x4 pick up or jeep You must buy a full set of tires 4 at a time or damage can and will happen ..as for oil changes I have used wally stores no problem but I tell the people what oil and filter and how many Qts to use ... You should have the brains to look at the tires You buy and also check the psi and lugs for torque after all Wallmart has abig turn over in staff I would think...Bushman..

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes that's a good thing, and other times not so much.

We've used WalMarts all over the country for oil changes to our everyday vehicles. We've never had any problems. If we had a small gas RV we'd probably do the same. We had a big diesel motorhome.

Like any other service facilities - there are WALMARTS and there are walmarts. Even at the local Ford dealers, I stand and watch. Last time they couldn't figure out how to get my diesel powered truck on a 2 post lift, rotated the tires but never torqued them though used a Snap-on air gun at the highest setting which meant that I had to use a 4 foot 'cheater' to loosen then retorque. They also tightened the filter with a wrench. They also told me I needed new brakes soon - not!! Guess what dealer will never see my truck again. So, due diligence wherever you take any motor vehicle. You don't need any ASE certification to change oil, rotate or install tires though you do need some level of brain power and competence.

NEVER AGAIN. Over Filled my Camry 1 quart and half. I told them what it held and they brought out a Oil service book and pointed to 6L and put in 6 quarts. Did not know what L stood for. I got supervisor and showed him in Vehicle manual the correct amount. He drained out proper amount .
