I never stayed overnight at a Walmart but I did by an inner tube for my bicycle that exploded when I inflated it. I hang the bike on a rack on our MH. Is that close enough?

One closer to 3000 posts. As long as the word "Walmart" is injected into your post, you are accepted into the club.

You are a cold, cold man, Dirk!! (LOL!!!)

While I have my TT, I would be unlikely to stay at a WM (just wouldn't feel safe to have to get to my TV to leave if something happened) but when I get my MH, I might--- just so I can write about it here!

last week we were heading towards Neunan Ga. to the new State park ,it was about 10:00 PM ,time to find a Walmart, looked up the closest location in the GPS ,It took us way out of our way, seemed about 10 miles , then after a while we came up on a huge Walmart distribution center .

The security guard with the big gun said no.

Stupid GPS...after we laughed a while ,I found another one, with a Hooters next door with wifi.

Headed out today for a today stay in a parking lot at a Gammell long arm quilting machine store for some classes. I will use all the Wal-Mart over night skills learned over the years to make it a great adventure.

Another Wal-Mart Parking story

Friends, we just drove to AB to EDM (big 60 Party) and Banff, Jasper etc.
Put 1,733 miles on our home on wheels. Since we did not want to bother the RV Parks at night, we just stayed a few hours at Wally's:
first night in Merritt with about 8 others. In the morning we had over 20 RV's, mostly 5th and TT's
second night we hit Hinton in Alberta. Canadian Tire has a Dump and Water to p/u. At Wally's, no it is the WEST PARK MALL we stayed with over 100 (Onehundred) other RVers. A big sign invites you to stay for one night and no trailer detaching. What a busy place. Cars, lots of Pick-Ups leave and RV's move in.
Shopping for Oil early in the morning. Thats when the GEN said I start all by myself.

Let me rephrase that correctly for you: The local laws or the parking lot owner doesn't allow it, Wal*Mart corporate does.

As I had posted earlier, I was overnighting at a Wal Mart in Edmonton .
When I was doing my morning walkaround check and inspection of my RV, I looked at the RV that was parked behind mine.
Their RV was similar to mine but about ten years older. He had screwed down his levelling jacks that were attached to the back bumper and blocked up his rear dualies. But he only blocked up the outside dualie not both. I am sure that I have read on iRV2 that both should be supported.
Should I have went and knocked on his door and pointed out this mistake?

Not unless you brought some Scotch, ice and a few more blocks to his Wal-Mart site....

As you have speculated, there is no reason at all not to put our your slides if there is room. Some like to say that it makes it look like you are camping. Well, you are. It's mostly about trying to find a justification when none is necessary.

Since I'm in Canada he will have to settle for a few glasses of Crown Royal. But I will keep that in mind as a way to approach a fellow RVer
