I think CC are missing out on an opportunity. I would be more than glad to pay 10-15 bucks for a safe place to plug-in for the night, don't need water and sewer for an overnight, but if you're traveling who wants to pay 40 to 50 bucks for 8 hours sleep and the raft of the neighbors when you crank up early in the AM to get back on the road. Yes we have Pass Port America, but some of them are so far off the beaten path and others are just far and few between. So, yes we have stayed over at Wally World, generally as far back in the corner as we can get. And yes, half the time we spend more in WW than the cost of a CC, but it's usually stuff we needed to stock up on anyway. What I don't like to see is the rigs with their awnings out, lawn chairs set-up and in the same spot for days. WW is for quick overnight stays not for your whole vacation.

If you close your shades you wont have to. Its an easy solution and like parking at Walmart its free

funny funny funny

Monocoach, you are funny. I agree with you. Early in this thread someone made a comment i will loosly quote, "If everyone would just do what we do, everything would be fine". I agree with your suggestion. Shut your blinds.

I suspect the people who make the "no generators" rules, don't have generators.
To me, if some one's generator bothers you, there are two choices:
A. Move
B. Crank up your generator, turn on your AC, stick plugs in your ears, close your windows, and go to bed.

Don't have a generator - not my problem
Don't have Air Conditioner - not my problem
Don't have ears - not my problem
Don't have plugs - not my problem
Don't have windows - not my problem
Don't have a bed - not my problem

Like I always say, "Everyone is entitled to their own stupid opinion". This is mine.
Jim

Staying at a racetrack

Monocoach mentioned overnighting at racetracks. I have never heard of this..can you elaborate or send me a private message about it? Thanks.

Dan alot of horse racetracks and casinos allow overnight parking. We have stayed at the big one in Erie Pa and in Fort Erie Ontario. We pull in late, waste a couple of dollars on the slot machines have a drink and go to bed, go back in for breaky in the morning. Similar to Walmart except we dont come out with any goods in hand.
