Why I hate Wal Mart

Here I sit on Wal Mart’s lot
Kinda tired, kinda not.
Lots of drivin’, body’s crampin’
Thank God for this freebee campin’.
Lots of conflict in my head
Go to Wall-Mart; go to bed?
Left over food, I ate before
Cheap, hot chicken in the store
Wife is cranky, had to yell,
Go get a chicken or go to (Target?)

Six dollar chickens can’t be beat
Pie and donuts for a treat.
Don’t forget the beer and wine,
some chips and salsa, would be fine
Get some canned food for the cat
and a brand new bathroom mat.
A couple towels, a bar of soap,
A nice big bottle of minty Scope
The old TV is really crappy,
get a new one, make it snappy.
Buy a Cosmo magazine,
Orders from the Wal-Mart queen.

So off I go to get my dinner,
Who’s the loser, who’s the winner?
Lots of stuff, I know I need it
Six dollar chicken, who can beat it.
Two big baskets, bags and boxes,
I wonder just how far Fort Knox is.
I feel just like a lottery winner,
$800 for a chicken dinner?
Take a tip from learned scholars,
KOA – just 50 dollars.

Ha Ha Ha, That's hilarious, Jim. It made our day. We are off soon ( Oct. 10 )
for our first Motorhome trip to Fort Worth, Tx. from Thunder Bay, Ont. I'll be sure to hide the Walmart directory.

The RV Parking Ban at Wal*Mart was in Colorado. The ban was reversed.

Everything I love about Walmart...and it rhymes!

Who will set it to music?

Wal*Mart Proves return business is more important than rip-off one visit stores. So many retailers try to make thier retirement off each customer while Wal*Mart understands return customers are far more valuable.

Loved the poem. My DH and I laughed all the way through breakfast. We've been fulltiming for a month now and have WalMarted four time. We've spent more in WM than we have in our entire lives and probably more than we would have spent on a campgroround but we didn't buy anything we didn't NEED. Or did we?

I have not had any problems RESTING at walmart. I like driving at night pull in to Wally world and sleep a couple of hours and shop for a few things and away I go. The problem is there are people that set up a residence in the parking lot. At my local Wally world a class c was there for at least 3weeks.

Has the entire state of Arizona banned Walmart camping? In researching our next trip I noticed that along Interstate 10 there are no Walmarts that allow overnighting.

I've seen RVs at WMs 3 miles north of I-10 in west Phx.

See link for map of Wal-Marts in AZ and if they permit camping. All this info for all states is available in a phone app also.
