It's places like the high dollar ones that would be more likely to petition the local cities to ban WM parking. The low dollar ones would have enough volume to keep them going.

Irony

I love Irony, or maybe ironing, not sure which. While reading the Wall-Docking thread, at the top of the page was an ad for Traget. Maybe they are trying to get some of our business. Please tell me there are not any traitors on this site who have ever stayed overnight at Traget. Oh the shame.

Dang it! We are not going to Omak this weekend. I was so looking forward to the Flash Mob and meeting all the other like-minded Wally-Whirled overnighters. But alas, we are going to be otherwise occupied. You guys go on without me, but somebody has to get there early to reserve a grassy area for Francesca! And get the Christmas trees planted!

I think I have a cool idea. Walmarts' should set up a giant screen TV near the RVs and play "G" movies till, say... midnight. The security guard could drive by selling chips and canned soda. Between movies, they could flash sale item on the screen. Am I nuts?

I like what OHIO has done at some of the rest stops on the Turnpike. Overnight RV parking with electric for $20. They provide potable water and a dump station also. With the traffic, it's noisier than some campgrounds, but not as bad as a truck stop. It's clean, well lighted and secure.

It would be nice to see more states follow suit.

Could you stay there, say, a week?

Like most states, Ohio would probably take whatever gouge dollars they could from the gullible.

If there is no sign stating the stay limits, weeks, months, years are doable, I don't think any court could prosecute you for staying any length of time. With that typed, I don't recall any place that doesn't have a stay limit.

Edit for Walmart content to keep the mods happy: Do Walmarts that allow "camping" have stay limit signs?

$20 to set on a cement slab 100 feet from interstate traffic; It is at least $10 to much.
I don't think they have overnight security. (I"ve never seen any)
Next thing you no. all rest stops will have an entrance fee. When will it stop?
