Have you TASTED Walmart beef?

Only the cube steak is chewable- even the rib steak tastes like cube steak- just tougher.

I've heard that Sam's Club and Costco beef is way better than WM beef.

Does Walmart Beef come from different cows? I seen lots of cows out in the field and can't tell which one is a Walmart cow and which is a Costco cow. Now Walmart parking lot is different!

And injected with a water/salt solution to "tenderize" it.

Of course you can. All you have to do is ask. They are very accomodating. Problem is, they close each evening, where most WM's are open 24 hrs. for that late night craving.

I can vouch for Costco steaks. They not only sell Choice grade, but they sell Prime. You should try their Prime ribeyes. OMG! But, at about $13-$14 per pound, they ought to be good.

I have purchased steak at WM. Only once, but that was enough. Nasty!

I think the WalMart beef comes from INSIDE the store. I have seen a lot of beef there. And a lot of Pork too.

Don't know about Wal Mart beef. All I have ever had from there was the most delicious chicken I have ever eaten. Maybe late at night, after driving all day, and 2 or 3 cocktails, anything would taste good. If I had a nickel for every time I have eaten WM chicken and a baked potato after a long days drive, I'd have well..... probably $1.75. Heck, that won't even buy a chicken. It's donuts and milk from now on.

I also don't care for WalMart beef but I do get the Eye of Chuck steaks. Marinate for 24 hrs. & grill. They turn out good. I understand that Sam's still have on site butchers & I love their rib eyes.

I have bought Walmart steaks and pounded the heck (ha ha) out of them and lots of steak spice and they weren't too bad. Costco steaks are better but its against the code to cook Costco steaks in a WM parking lot.

Sorry, I can't comment on that as it would get deleted as being "political"
