If the owner of the place ( Walmart ) doesn't mind then why is it " the heck with anybody else "?

This is our first trip in our New Jayco and Walmart seems to be the ticket as we beat feet westbound. Sure wish our Ref would start to cool down?????
If you're headed to north Idaho, I highly recommend the Post Falls Walmart. They're right on the Idaho/Washington border just off I-90 but tucked back from the road for a nice restful night.

Madrona, thanks for the info on the Wenatchee Walmart. I can do without power for one night, but free wifi at Home Depo does sound kind of appealing!

I'll second the Post Falls WM recommendation. On our return trip we stayed there again and found ourselves in with a group of like minded nuts who enjoyed chatting and spending the time. I think everyone gets exactly from Walmart what they expect. Some expect nothing and are truly suprised and others expect everything and are truly surprised.

Our first experience at WalMart was great last night! West Memphis Arkansas, slept like a baby. Tonight were in Kansas looking for The Wizard and Oz, no not Dr. Oz.....
Tomorrow maybe Colorado, heading to Idaho by Saturday in our new rig.

Fly Safe All, this is fun!!

It would be nice if Walmart put a dump station in their lots to encourage more RVers to use their factilites. I wonder if the store managers would take reservations? That way he can manage the amount of available camping spaces without hurting someone's feelings.

By doing that, walmart would technically be a campground.

And Privacy screens so we dont have to be bothered by all the People of Walmart!1

Oh, and power and water hook-ups. Not just water, HOT water for for filling the pool and 1hr showers!

Does that make Flying Js campgrounds?

I know of a Texaco station in Gila Bend that has a free dump. Is that also a campground?

It might make any empty lot with a sewer clean out plug one.

That's what I use in my front yard. Does it make my front yard a campground.

I think they should just leave Walmart as it is.

It was. I was going to take it a step further and suggest that all the light posts have a 30amp RV outlet, but I thought that would be way too obvious that I was joking. The Walmart in Quakertown, Pa allows overnighting, but the local PD will chase you out as it violates their local ordinance. I never spent a night at a WM. I'm not sure that I ever will, but I do understand the convenience of it.
