Those would be appropriate as would my favorite quote from Apocalypse Now;
Capt. Willard: "Sir, I am unaware of any such activity or operation... nor would I be disposed to discuss such an operation if it did in fact exist, sir."

Not really, our rig is fully self contained (as are most nowadays). I don't need full hook ups every night, every other night or even every third night. No reason for us to even look for a campground except when we reach our destination, then I'll pay to camp.

We camped at Cracker Barrel Friday night located near Walmart in Kimball TN after our son's HS homecoming game then headed to Scottsboro AL to Goose Pond Colony for a weekend retreat. I wonder if they ever thought about all these new EV stations that are being installed to add a 30 and 50 amp plug for some that may want to save on running their generator? Never seen anyone plugged into one of these and it seems a waste.

Not here, just checking your cart contents against the sales receipt now, just like Costco.

I have parked at a Walmart and will continue to park at Walmart.[
I don't think those folks that now stand at the door are called 'Greeters.' I believe they are called 'Security' and are much fleeter of foot to stop shrinkage. -Shrinkage is another word for theft, not what happens to Dunner if he comes north of Texas in the winter.

Get it right, Bob. It's called Walmart "Loss Prevention".

Overnighting at WM? Looking at it from the campground owner's point of view, it's not fair. But looking at it from the camper's viewpoint, it's an option, or, competition.

Looking at it from the municipality's viewpoint, it may believe a huge, often greatest contributor to their tax coffers might be best left alone.

WM might well believe it doesn't need being told what to do by a government it makes so much money for, expecially if it costs them customer dollars.

Lots to consider.

My viewpoint? WM hurts lots of businesses, but not nearly as many as governments. I'd have to think a very long time to say we need another rule, law or regulation. Maybe in the area of pedophiles, etc., but that's pretty much it.

Often the Walmart parking lots get crowded so here is an alternative for those with tents. This person has chairs out but being on the roof its out of sight out of mind.

We've stayed at the Kimball Tn. WalMart several times on our way from our home in Fl. to Mi. and back. There's always a bunch of trucks and RVs there, open 24 hours and right off the highway !
