I use to know most of the local cops, 10 different police departments. The statement was even if you were in the back sleeping it off... now I do not know once it gets to court... but there is a long ways between knock knock knock and a court date usually.
Forgot again... even if I was parked at Walmart.....
But what happens with us guys with 5ers.... (or trailers)

You must remember that Wal-Mart besides being a store it is just a PARKING LOT and not a campground so no Awning out, BBQ grille out and none of the other camping equipment.

If you believe that it infringes on campgrounds, then tell the campground owners to make a place just for overnighters without the use of the ammenities and charge a nominal fee like $10.00 and maybe people will stop there instead of Wal-Mart. No they want $35.00 - 50.00 for an overnight stay.

In Closing if you want to stay at Campgrounds that is fine if you want to set up your Rv at Wal-Mart and play loud music then do me a favor don't stop at Wal-Mart PLEASEEEEEE! This way you won't spoil it for the rest of us. In fact maybe you should go to KOA too.

What are you talking about? Do you even read the posts? Do you know what 'sarcasm' is? Do you know that at least 5 others where 'in on it'?

Do you know I DO NOT think it infringes on campgrounds and never said so?

Do you know that in the past of this thread, I stated that Walmart is NOT a campground?

Do you know that ...???

Take you attacks somewhere else...

In Tennessee, my dad got a DUI for sleeping in the back of his car after a party. Never left the lot nor started the car. Cop said it was because he was in the car with his keys. Judge agreed..

Walmart sell alcohol, so I guess having a few shots and beers in their parking lot while sitting around the fire is acceptable. It's like anything else in life, moderation is the key. Don't throw your empties in the lot and make sure the fire is out before retiring for the night.

Just pulled in to Walmart in Wilmington, NC after a long day. Two other RVs here so far. Asked the security guard in his little car with the flashing yellow lights if it was okay to park here. No problemo. Life is good.

Sorry to hear that. It just goes to what I was saying earlier, if you have your keys you are fair game.

Put the slides and awning out and relax awhile. It looks like you're in a good spot to grab the satellite signal as well. I often thought of tailgating at a WM and having a few guys over for a Sunday afternoon NFL game.

I have stayed in a walmarts but did not put out the slides and well did not camp there.
O well just my two cents
Bet it is warmer there than here toady.
5 motor homes, how come is always motor homes, maybe that says something else.
Slides out... I do not put the slide out until I get to a CG or home.
A day early... that is not waiting that is over nighting.
I have not stayed in any parking lot for more than an hour (Flying J for about 1 hr) and not a Walmart at all while connected to my 5er.

For those that may not know the above comments are personal opinions from my up bringing and life experiences, your opinion may differ.
