We have stayed at Cracker Barrell many times on the way down I75 to Florida but one of our friends on this site tried to stay at a Cracker Barell down near Mississippi and he was told it was aginst Corporate policy. So I wrote to Corporate and they said it was their policy to not allow over night parking and all store manager get reminded of that policy. So we no longer try parking there and just pull into a KOA for the night unless we see a good empty road side pull off to stay at. We did that in Pennsylvania and a State Trooper asked us how long we would be staying and then said he would check on us every hour through the night while he was on shift. Did not ask if it was a bad area but appreciated his vigilance.

Safest thing to do is ask the store manager where you can place the satellite dish. That way you will not irritate the other campers. We make smores from the hot exhaust off the open frame generator.

Evidently winter is arriving. We are about 60 miles north of Seattle. We went to Walmart today and found not a single RV in the parking lot. First time since last spring.

Watchit you sand haug! With luck DW and I will be in Phoenix this winter. Should I bring some real beer to drink while we're down there or will the pretend beers you all drink suffice? I'm partial to the darker stuff so you may get stuck drinking that!

Here's a representative video of camping at Walmart. I have to admit that ATV riding looks like fun.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Bring it! Although, I'm kinda sick to my stomach right now from watch a defendant answer every charge with a _____ eating grin.

Do we have to drink it in a WM parking lot, and out of a red solo cup?

I could bring a bunch of Tim Horton's Take Out Cups just to confuse the local constabulary.

I bet you haven't seen the cheers collection at Walmart while you've camped out? There is an episode where Cliff explains to Norm the Buffalo Theory. Only beer here no Capt Morgan's at all.

Cheers - Buffalo Theory
