OMG the dreaded knock on the door at 3 am
Yes and I didn't pull out the fire arm
Actually I was awake at the time and heard the knocks on the neighbors Rv, went outside to talk to the officer. He said they got the call and had to come. He was nice about it.

Wal-Mart Smart phone apps list all of the No Parking Allowed as well as the Inquire before parking locations. It is updated regularly. If people choose to violate these city ordinances, then they should expect to have it followed. I went to a city council meeting about this about 10 years ago when a Super Wal-Mart moved to the town where I was living. The stupidity level of those against allowing it was very high. It was like the lot was going to be filled with robbers, beggars, and child molesters. The city council members saw voters out there and pass the ordinance. It is in force today. From the cops standpoint, if they allow the law to be broken, they can get into trouble themselves. The Wal-Mart is surrounded by other businesses who could benefit from the additional camper business and the Wal-Mart is by far the largest property taxpayer in the city as well as a very frequent giver to local charities. There are frequently student groups doing car washes and other types of fund raisers. [Moderator Edit] and when you try to break the rules expect to get roused out.

If there are signs on the light posts that say no overnight parking is allowed due to City Ordinance xxxxxxxx and you decide to park anyway, what would you call this? Why would anybody be offended if they were caught. If a cop clocks you at 75 in a 65 zone, are you offended that he stops you? Are you smart for going too fast. I speed myself, but with the knowledge that I am at some point get caught. If they don't allow overnighting or have low height barriers in place, what would you call doing it anyway, smart?

I am not offended if I was doing something stupid. Ask my wife, about the frequency of this.

I love Rving, I enjoy overnighting at Walmarts, I enjoy this website. What hobbies do you suggest Lindsay? Be careful not to go off topic.

If insomnia doesn't keep me awake, heartburn wakes me up. I think I wore out a pillow tossing and turning last night.

if you had been camping in a walmart parking lot, you could have gone in and bought a new one.
