I don't get it--I thought this was for W/M parking, not snow shovels. Am I on wrong thread here? Oh well, let's abandon it.

Francesca, where you in BC (lower mainland or Vancouver Island) during this past summer? I am sure I followed behind your unit or one exactly like it earlier this year. A friend of ours bought a Bowler and my wife was not as impressed with it as much as she was impressed by the one we were following. It had WA plates too.

Wally-Dockers. I like that. Dennis, are you sure it could have been Francesca? She's generally the one who's behind, I gather... or parked at Wally Whirled.

Wayne? Are you still reading this thread?? I thought you wanted it shut down and were going to stop reading it, long ago.
I'm not sure if you've ever told us. Are you a Wal-Mart overnighter? Lots of good experiences to be had there, for sure. I hope you have enjoyed their hospitality a few times and can give us your impressions and experiences. That is what this thread is all about. C'mon, enlighten us, please.

I was at Wal*Mart yesterday. Even Parked there. Nothing further happened, except they took my money.

Can you buy a snow plow blade for your motorhome? WalMart Parking lot needs some snow removal.. Need some extra money
Can you imagine a 45 footer doing snow removal in a WalMart Parking lot?

On a recent cross country trip, I Wally docked most of the time. I pulled into a W/M in Eastern SD a little after dark, and saw more RV's than I have ever seen at one. Must been at least a dozen. And this is late October.
I didn't even think of looking for signs.
Next morning I saw the lot posted as "No Overnite Parking - Local Law"
I'm glad the local LEO's didn't come in to enforce it.
I guess that's why they say "Never ASSUME"

If a dozen other RVs are there, why would you even worry about a LEO?
I would have gone in and asked the manager what the story was.

I think this can be the equivalent of "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" on a township level. If they want you out, you're out.

Warning! If you do not want to get boxed in a Walmart parking lot on the Friday after Thanksgiving you had better find another place to park or leave before 12 am on Black Friday. Some one may just Lay-Away your rig if they see it there.

We have never stopped at a Walmart overnight but after paying as much as $58 for an overnight stay we're reconsidering our options. If camprounds along the major highways had reduced rates for those of us who stop just for the night , we might continue to use them , but it's not worth that kind of money to pull in go to sleep and leave at sunrise.
