Well I had already parked at Midway RV Park in Dexter, NM before I found the Roswell, NM Walmart/Sam's Club (Next door neighbors) and noted a Mh & a 5'er in the parking lot when I went in to stock up and pick up a Chicken for Dinner... Was a great parking lot and I will know to stay there next trip through Roswell.

I see this thread was started 3 years ago and there must be a about $5 in the pot. 2 cents at a time..Didnt read the whole thread but after being at a recent RV show I did notice lots of MH and trailers or 5ths have multiple slides. With more and more being added lots cannot be accessed from front to rear without putting the slides out. So I would suspect that more overnighters may have to put the slides out to access their bathroom or maybe bedroom.

No doubt about it, but it is not an issue as long as you don't infringe on traffic. When Wal-Mart managers give you permission to park overnight in their lot, they expect you to use your RV like an RV. Common sense always prevails. Enjoy many overnight stays at WM secure in the knowledge that you are persuing a lifestyle others can only dream about.

we just pulled into a walmart in Statesville North Carolina...went to customer service and asked to spend the night...no problem!!!
I looked and booked a campsite for tomorrow night using the 2012 Passport America catalog..found near Nashville Tennessee, one we could do...called for a reservation and was told they no longer honor Passport America! passport america recommends that you check their website daily as they are always adding and dropping sites!!

If you have a smart phone, the Passport America free app appears to be undated and you don't need WiFi to check it. The books can always be outdated from Good Sam to Woodalls. Allstays also has the Ok to overnight and the No overnight listed separately. Both apps will interact with GPS and take your right to the door.

I feel that I must confess. We were driving the RV back from a service appointment and stopped at Walmart. We got the chicken, but did not stay the night. What penance is required to square this transgression of the Walmartian rules?

You must go to Voodoo donuts in downtown portland, oregon, obtain a dozen bacon maple bars and offer them at the altar of my camper's door .

We went to Voodoo Donuts when we were in Portland and the line was out the door and literally down the block just to get in. Couldn't believe it! Couldn't invest the time.

I've gone to one of our local Wal*Marts looking for the atlas, they say they haven't had them in some time, nor have I ever seen a directory.

The Allstays smart phone app replaces it and interact with GPS.

Crispy Cream makes good donuts, but they shut down most of the stores. Can't even get them at Kroger's anymore.

A quick search shows VooDoo donuts is only in OR. Anyone that posts about VooDoo donuts gets 225 Walmart demerits.

We're headed for the Good Sam rally in Phoenix in a few days, will make our first overnight stop in Redding at a WM so maybe I can pick up a new atlas there.
