Sarah, you're making people turn over before they're in the grave.

I think it's pretty obvious that the above is tongue-in-cheek, but I fear that new RVers or folks planning to rent an RV for a summer vacation may be reading this thread, and may not realize what is and what isn't appropriate for blacktop boondocking, at Walmart or other retail locations.

Not a criticism of anyone -- most of this is just banter between folks who know what to do and what not to do in a parking lot -- but I'm just sort of thinking out loud here....

I guess we all need to post a disclaimer every time we make a sarcastic or funny post.

I do think that using one of the numerous "tongue in cheek" icons that irv2.com provides would be a good idea..... again, my concern is for those who are new to blacktop boondocking and who might be misled by things that experienced RVers know are posted just for humor.....

I think there are enough pages of the "Rules" to overnighting at a WM that any newbie would not get confused by one post.

I agree. Although there are many, many pages about the "rules" to this thread, a new comer might just choose the last or next to the last page to start reading.

Sorry for the incorrect terminology. That's why I put the wings on rules.

Overnight parking etiquette

Thanks Dunny. Seems strange to me that others would make rules for Walmart. As I said , I was just curious. Out of about 1500 nights of camping, only 2 were spent there. And spent I did. About $250 each night. I didn't get any rules handed to me , which is why I asked. I haven't followed this thread much.
