We've had such wonderful experiences camping at various WMs that we've now decided which is our favorite. Great chicken, Doc-in-a-Box and right near a lake. Yup, we're setting our Park Model right next to the shady trees on the south end of the lot! Ferrell Gas says they can run a 2nd line to our generator when they set the tank.

How come every security agent for W/M gets a job done and is accused of being rude. All they did was perform their duty of informing you to pick up your tent, take out the stakes driven into the asphalt, pick up the chicken bones and put out the fire ring in the parking lot , then leave. What's rude about that?

I agree that the security folks are under-appreciated. In New York City it is often wise to tip the Maitre d' a twenty to get a good table. I suggest that we all ask the security person on duty when we arrive if he prefers a quarter pounder or a big mac, and then buy him one as a tip.

Or at least share a wally chicken leg with him.

I have my kids stand in as door greeters on the 2AM shift as a way of giving back to Walmart for the parking spot. Its also a lesson in cultural awareness.

Sweet. So now when the horn goes off there's no geezer near enough to limp to the exit before a thief is in his car with the questioned merchandise. I've wondered about that. And how about coming in with merchandise to return? Our WM often doesn't have anyone near the entrance.

Guess this is off topic.

Is it on topic if you start each comment with one of the following as an example?

"I have parked at Walmart."
"I have not yet parked at Walmart."
"I might park at Walmart."
"I will NEVER park at Walmart!"

The 2 Walmarts I go to around here still have 'greeters', though they actually just make sure you actually are bringing that item in, and that you get a cart...
