We love to get a nice waterfront site at Wal-Mart right next to the retention pond. You can hear the birds in the morning.

Since we have over 2100 posts repeating yea or nay, perhaps we should close the thread, delete all posts but the first page and everyone will have only one page to look at.

Think of the savings in electrons and index finger injuries from mouse scrolling through all the pages.

Two different days this month in my hometown walmart.

Not the safest area of town.

Darn! A couple weeks ago, we paid $29.00 for the night in a CG with all kinds of retention ponds(it had been raining for a week) in a gravel pit with no usable power...but then again, there was no WM there in Chicken. Bob

I'd think again about that Dirk. We have over 2100 posts that would have been posted somewhere anyway...think of how many threads we dont need to look through; just this one. I think its a pretty good idea to keep all the Walmart junk in one place!

Knowledge from inside WalMart

I worked at a W-M Tire Lube Express for 8 months (no one around here would hire a 62 year old machine designer) and heard comments about RVers parking on the outskirts of the parking lot. Comments were always favorable unless someone parked up close to the building or overdid the stopover bit by grilling or putting out awnings. Pull in, way out, park like a semi stopping overnite, get permission from inside, and patronize the establishment.
You're getting free "camping" for the night so why not go inside and buy a few essentials that you need anyway. A small way of saying "Thank You"
